Oasis Hub Oldham is a community movement dedicated to locality of Hollinwood. We use holistic methodology to work with schools, partners and residents to build a strong, safe, and resilient community. Our model and activities enables people to develop the skills and character to be more independent. We respond to the assets and needs of our local neighbourhood actively involving community members in designing, delivering and leading activities. We provide adult education, volunteering opportunities, holiday activities, community kitchen, farm and growing projects, financial inclusion project, youth clubs, NEET interventions, mentoring and vulnerable family support.
New Employability Project
Monica Dey will be delivering Oasis’s new Employability Project!
Due to COVID-19, many people have found themselves without a job, and others finding that they don’t have the skills for an increasingly competitive job market. This is where I can come into help! I will work with you to create personalised plans to get you into volunteering, training, work or further education! I will work with you using 1-to-1 sessions to help you with a range of job-related activities: from CV-writing to interview preparation to job search skills to sourcing qualification and training opportunities and more! I will be here to support you right from start to finish of your journey into the workforce.
